Misha Maseka
Acting
Starting her career in opera and theatre performing across Canada, the United States and Germany (Calgary Philharmonic, Theatre Calgary, Square One Media, Lyric Studio Weimar, Arts Commons, Banff Centre) is evident in her use of spectacle in her study of he mundane, heritage and memory. This made notable in her celebrated short film and EP “Not That Deep” - winner of two Berlin Short Film Festival awards. Misha also works in spatial sound and design as a composer and music director. She holds a masters from the Royal College of Art focussing on immersive technology and the African music archive. When not performing or directing, she produces musical theatre cabarets feature emerging Black talent with her production collective, Village Girls.
Yomi Kadejo
Yomi is a dynamic creative with years of professional experience in music production, sound design, and photography, bringing a rare blend of technical expertise and artistic vision to SASCA. Alongside his industry work, he has spent many years teaching young people the ins and outs of digital music, creative media, and visual storytelling, helping students unlock their confidence and develop real‑world creative skills. As Course Leader for Music Production & Cinematic Arts, Yomi is passionate about guiding the next generation of creators through modern production techniques, cinematic sound, and innovative visual expression.
